Non-Maintained Special School

Category: Type of Establishment. Non-Maintained Special schools are independent special schools approved by the Secretary of State for Education and Skills. They are run on a not-for-profit basis by charitable trusts and normally cater for children with severe and/or low incidence special educational needs.

Nursery

Category: Phase of Education. Nursery schools provide education for children under the age of 5 and over the age of 2.
